ABINGER STAINED GLASS | AMANDA WINFIELD
Rambling Rector
Front Door and Stairwell Windows
The original house was an Arts and Crafts style property that was sadly riven with rot and problems beyond salvage. So my clients built a lovely new house on the site which has all the latest energy saving methods installed.
I researched roses of the Arts and Crafts period and discovered a very pretty rose called Rambling Rector. This fits perfectly with the age of the original house, and I designed the stained glass octagon to frame that stunning view. They then commissioned me to add a window to the front door, and the crowning glory – a whole suite of windows for their stairwell.
All three projects are encapsulated into 28mm units, which comply with the very strict regulations on site.
