Lady Chapel Window
Following on from my additions to the windows behind the altar, I was asked to create the glass for both sides of the Lady Chapel at St Michaels RC Church in Ashtead. The toughened glass panels had been decorated by children some ten year previously and the paint was now very faded and peeling. I recreated their wonderful vibrant designs in glass using lots of amazing mouth blown glass and some textures. The opalescent whispy yellow works so well from the outside as well as the inside of the church. The first picture shows John fixing the top panels and the original panels below.
