My client wanted to keep as much light on the stairwell as possible yet add some interest. Their garden is rich with azaleas and rhododendrons so it seemed an obvious choice to use these blooms.
Most of the glass is mouth blown with the blooms made using Lamberts graded ruby glass made in Germany. The background is a beautiful reamy clear glass from Tatra, made in Poland with the leaves in a streaky Wismach, made in the USA. An international window!
