Been a hectic summer hasn’t it? The great weather passed us by in a flurry of family commitments, French cottage sale and subsequent emptying! Trying to work full time in amongst that has been a challenge but I’ve managed to keep the commissions going.
Today I finally completed cutting of my two front door Autumn Seed Head panels and got done work for the National Trust in the kiln.
There’s a lot of machine made obscured glass in these panels, to give the appropriate level of privacy. These go either side of a front door, encapsulated into sealed units, so this obscured glass is essential.
I have managed to sneak in some beautiful pieces of mouth blown to depict the seed heads.
And following my visit last week to English Antique Glass company, cut into one of my twelve purchases!

I’ll do a whole separate post for this next week.

Their shelves are full and they’re blowing lots of fabulous glass. ... See MoreSee Less
